Keating Associates creates breakthrough search program using the newest variable data printing technology

South Natick – April 2004 – Keating Associates, Inc. a leading marketing consulting and creative services agency, recently completed an innovative search program for Assumption College of Worcester, MA.

Keating created the piece to be produced on the highest quality, fully customizable variable printing available, teaming with Lavigne of Worcester, MA. The self-mailer, used for Assumption's high school junior search efforts, was printed four-color on a digital press. Setting it apart from the abundance of mail pieces that this audience receives, the piece featured a personalized cover and inside panel that includes the recipient's first name. 

The use of digital printing allows the self-mailers to be printed in batches without the typical printer set-up costs. As student inquiries arrive, the college can print as many as they need, as they need them. Using the variable data technology, each piece is personalized for the recipient, for true one-to-one marketing.  This breakthrough technology lends itself to a wide range of other uses, from direct mail to personalized brochures and fact sheets.
